Set within the stunning Dumfries and Galloway countryside, Kinmount House is a magnificent Class A listed early 19th-century mansion, providing an elegant and timeless setting for wedding photography. From the moment guests arrived, there was a wonderful sense of excitement as friends and family gathered to celebrate Ashleigh and Ben’s special day.

Although one of the biggest storms of the year loomed the wedding day brought a beautiful freshness to the surroundings, with the grounds providing a stunning backdrop for photographs.

I loved capturing the natural moments throughout the day — the anticipation, emotional ceremony, joyful celebrations and all the laughter shared between Ashleigh, Ben and the people closest to them.

My approach to wedding photography is relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing the day to unfold naturally rather than filling it with posed photographs.
